Simlipal Tiger Reserve officials foil hunting excursion by armed tribals

Author: Baripada, Feb 15 : Hundreds of tribal hunters armed with bows and arrows, hunting axes and spears made an abortive attempt yesterday to conduct a ‘Mass Hunting Excursion’, better known as ‘Akhand Shikar’ in an animal-rich area called Kulipal inside the Simlipal Tiger Reserve(STR).
